Great music is great music, no need for ‘enhancements’ but if you want to then go ahead. I’d just struggle to take any of my favourites from those days ‘seriously’ without a consistent body of evidence since. Of course it’s impossible to totally separate the two once the ‘deed has been done’.

the first time I heard this album was also the first time I did acid, and tbh I wasn't quite feeling it at the time. I think I 3.5'd it afterwards. of course it grew on me a ton, and during college I probably listened to at least 1969 every single time I tripped
