He could use a little bit more Bruce Dickinson in my opinion.

Yeah probably. But he's still awesome. A man among dudes indeed.

The Hayley Williams part really made him a man amongst dudes.

He's always reminded me of Rob Halford a bit as well.

I've been listening to this a rediculous amount since finally giving it a try a week or two ago. Easily the best thing I've found so far this year.

I'll listen to Scurrilous when it comes out....I have a hard time believing it's actually as good as this.

Bloodmeat or Sequoia Throne...

because of the "A THOUSAND FATHERS KILLED,A THOUSAND VIRGIN DAUGHTERS SPREAD..." line, bloodmeat is the winner

incorporating encompassing influences subtly into a progressive metal setting, one thankfully lacking in James LaBrie and 'it was all a dream' epiphanies.

I get your point Mr. Munro. Still getting the feeling that this was a subtle stab at LaBrie hehe. Whatever your other potential reservations might be, the reggae-inspired section in Bone Marrow speaks for itself. Specically at 3:32-3:34 - Eerie.

Sound, that was supposed to be anything but subtle. James LaBrie sucks.
