Pretty unique production wise, but his persona can get tiring after a while.

His persona at least was tolerable in his previous LP with exception of 808's and heartbreaks which is terrible, here his persona is more insufferable than ever

Agreed. He can be grating at times. In small does I'm fine with Kanye, but I get sick of him if I listen to this LP for too long. I still really enjoy some of the tracks on here though.

First you start with eminem, snoop dogg, dmx, kendrick lamar them you dig the classics ( 2pac, biggie, nwa, public enemy, geto boyz, nas, grandmaster flash, beastie boys, run dmc ), after that you need legit stuff like alt hip hop ( mf doom, a tribe called quest, sadistik, deltron 3030, atmosphere, mac lethal, outkast, cannibus and more), you could also dig killer mike and el-p. Avoid most of the g unit stuff, and crap like soulja boy, piles, rich boy, lil wayne and more, and never, never, never hear lil b if you respect hip hop.

Indeed Gwyn, you can dig cunninglynguists, saul williams, death grips and more cuz they rule. By the way I missed common, mos def, little brother, those guys kickass too
