saw them tonight, what a different show experience. literally full throttle from start to finish for like an hour and a half, fuckin awesome. doesnt get as fucking mental as pits for hardcore/metal shit but it's a very consistent crowd hype

from what i remember when I saw them in 2017(?) it was just people jumping up and down and stampeding towards the front rather than any actual pit.
always rationalized it as the majority of the dg fanbase being hip hop heads with no background in hardcore or metal, coupled with the sheer relentlessness of their set

Someone stole my shirt in a DG pit. The venue was a fucking oven so I had it inside out hanging off the back of my head. Idk, it was just funny. Had to go to the venue downstairs to buy a random band’s merch so I had something to wear for the 2 hour drive home.

Saw them in 2013 to a pretty small crowd and it was a blast but the 2018 show I saw at a much larger venue had a putrid crowd with no pit etiquette whatsoever.
