Basically, the technicality makes it. The jazz breaks, the syncopation and the ferocity.



It is a classic within mathcore but Dmitry was just so aggressive it cannot be matched.



43% Burnt live was probably the most insane thing ever heard in the history of UK live music when I witnessed it in Southampton. I saw them a few times (six I think) and Greg was sufficiently proficient at vocals. But this was my second album (Miss Machine being the primary listening experience when I was fifteen).



DEP are easily the most legendary mathematical metal whatever band in existence ever. Long live CI. And their music.

I'd been dating this girl. She is fairly girly. We were at my apartment, and I needed to crap. I told her I was going to play some noisy music so that she wouldn't hear the sounds emanating from my bowels. She said that was fine. I sat on the toilet, pressed play on my phone. Less than 10 seconds into Sugar Coated Sour, she banging on the door telling me to turn it off because it is too scary. Perfect. 5/5.

I finally got around to jamming this again. The first time, I thought it was the worst thing I had heard (this was like two years ago). Now that I’ve started writing my own music and stuff, I’ve realized just how great this is. It’s chaotic yet chill somehow. May have to give this a 5
