Steve Albini can be silly sometimes. He calls himself a feminist yet he had a huge hate boner for Liz Phair and the praise she received. The pixies created the blue print for most of underground indie rock. ( see Pavement) Combining the sounds of several bands into something new. (see The Dream Syndicate, Gun Club Sonic Youth etc)
