it's respectable to become a well-known female artist in the bm scene but you don't have to give her credit for her music if it doesn't deserve it so don't feel too misogynistic

not really surprising that someone with little/no previous background in extreme metal would have difficulty pulling off the style on their first go or two. I think if she like expanded into a full band and had others to support her ideas then maybe it could turn into something interesting, but right now it doesn't seem like she personally knows how to make everything work--how to get the best bm guitar sound, how to get the raw production sound, etc. I presume it's mostly probably due to a lack of experience which isn't her fault.

She's got Garm helping her out though... And if she wasn't happy with how it sounds she could have kept working on it rather than release something subpar
