I have a vastly personal connection to that record so my opinion of it is quite glorified in fairness

it's an underrated record tbh
I think some people just don't like it
I think it's growing on a lot of old school BMTH fans
And I think the majority of people who claim they don't like it are just saying they don't like it to be difficult and they don't really mean it.

It's ok, I'm not offended

I know this is a great record, top to bottom

So much so that I even ordered this puppy:

If you people are looking for some fantastic stocking stuffers--- get yourself some BMTH goodies. Oli Sykes bobbleheads. Jordan Fish magnets, special edition (with bonus tracks) versions of That's the Spirit, That's the Spirit bumper stickers, tee-shirts. Lots of stocking stuffers for this holiday season. Lots of goodies.

Great album, great fun, lots of goodies.

There wouldn't be half of the bands in the rock/metal genre still alive today if it weren't for BMTH, specifically the That's the Spirit record.

10, 20, 30 years from now....people will look back on the ultimate history of rock and roll and there will only be a few albums that come to mind:

"Falling Scalpel" by Greyest Comfort
"That's the Spirit" by Bring Me the Horizon
"Forlorn" by FNE
"Animals" by Pink Floyd
"Ten" by Pearl Jam
"Aenima" by Tool
"Physical Graffiti" by Led Zeppelin
"Throwing Copper" by Live
"Fush Yu Mung" by Smash Mouth

What the hell are you talking about, "history of rock and roll" ???

Is this a good album? Yes
Is it a classic rock album? No
Is it an influential album? Yes & No
Is it their best album? Yes
Does it deserve 140 pages of fodder forum nonsense drivel talk? No

It's a good album, yes, fine, we get it.

Leave it at that.
