Baby We'll Be Fine and Friend of Mine just sound off. Like they belong on the previous albums. Matt's vocals are odd. The melodies don't fit. Idk.

The lyrics are good, sure.

The melodies don't fit? What? Friend of Mine is like THE missing-a-friend song in my mind. like holy shit, it's so upbeat and catchy but so comically sad at the same time.

and i bet these guys could figure out a way to do metalcore.

This band has been pretty consistent for me. HV has always been my favorite but they have some truly stunning songs in their discography. How's Trouble Will Find Me?

Meaning it's kinda like HV? I found HV to be a fairly depressing kind of calm but yea.

Trouble is a little less dark i guess. i find HV to be their most depressing. Trouble comes second though in that respect. listen to Slipped. that song is downtrodden as fuck.

Trouble is great, though it doesn't top HV, Boxer or this one imho. It's very calmed, more acoustic and it has a very unique atmosphere. Fireproof and Pink Rabits are probably the best tracks of Trouble.

Fireproof

i think you might be in the minority on that one.

Fireproof is a great song
only song I don't like off of Trouble is Heavenfaced
Also Trouble is incredibly dark, but it doesn't have some of the violent imagery of HV. Extremely self-destructive tho

Pink Rabbits, Hard To Find, and I Need My Girl are definitely my top three on there.
