It must be the Dave's who are itching to get back together

I revisited this today after a long while and how good is just every song on this? It kinda blows my mind how many great riffs and ideas that packed into this. Anthology is a pretty flawless ep as well.

well deserved.
As far as those late 90’s/2000’s core records it’s honestly only behind Jane Doe for me
|

Think this might edge out Jane Doe personally
But I’m more of a WFCC guy these days

that makes sense then. Jane was on a different playing field than this. This sounds a lot closer to WFCC than Jane.
Jane will always be the goat for me tho

Jane Doe is untouchable
This record is close behind, like crotch-to-butt close
I kinda dislike how since the Sargent House signing the band has been adamant about not being back together, now we have this and the same thing is happening. I predict that they're going to announce shows and be like "THIS IS A ONE-TIME THING WE'RE NOT A BAND ANYMORE"

This is the penis and Jane Doe is the vagina

I love both albums in equal measure. But I find the riffs on this better.

Botch releases a 5-part series of concept albums over 3 years and goes on multiple world tours, all while insisting that they're still not a band and it's just a one-off thing

I have an emotional nostalgic connection with Jane that cannot be realistically rivalled, so it's an unfair comparison.
This took like a million years to grow on me (considering I've owned it for a similar period of time), but it hits damn hard now and I'll be spinning it for many years to come I imagine. Unique album.

I revisit this more than Jane Doe; I find it near impossible to rank one above the other though
