so we all know that born under punches is the best song around. but which version is better the intricate album version, or the dark and heavy version they played live?

I would tell you where Crosseyed stood in my ranking but I can't, all the tracks are too good to rank

The Great Curve tbh. Those trumpets.

Every ranking I come up with seems wrong in some manner, like none of these tracks seem like a bottom 3 tracks except maybe Seen and Not Seen, and even then that song is still fantastic

The Overload is easily the worst by a country mile for me.

Everything else is 5/5 tbh.

Listening Wind is the best song on side two tbh

I love the last three songs a lot, including the overload. Seems like the perfect dynamic switch to me from the overly chaotic intro to the slow and moody outro

I'm on the fence on the 5.1 mixes, Im so used to the originals that they sound really weird to me

I kind of ignore them

Why mess with something that's already brilliant?

Born Under Punches = Great Curve > Listening Wind > Crosseyed and Painless > Once in a Lifetime > Houses in Motion = The Overload (would be a lot better if they cut it down a bit) > > Seen and Not Seen

it's like a remaster, it could sound better or worse depending on the listener

the downmix of this just kicks ass, the grooves on this hit a lot harder and the energy is just unmatched

gj sach, i shall overlook your irrational hatred for a certain genre for this deed
