I guess I get it. You’re definitely not hating. It’s not like you could’ve rated it a 2, being that it’s a poor album. You had to go with the 1 to make sure you get your point across. I understand not liking it as it seems you’re more of a death metal and or extreme metal type of guy. But this isn’t a 1 and I know you know it.

For sure, 1000% agreed Davey. I don’t care what his rating is for the album and he definitely doesn’t need to like what I like. Bitchesss and I mentioned ‘haterz’ and he defended his stance with the lol above. I’m just questioning the integrity of his rating and that is all, as the overall here seems quite low for the acclaim this record has received. I just thought that his rating was a prime example. And if I’m wrong, I stand corrected….

I like the melon, but man some people that watch his shit are fucking brain dead. My little brother called the album trash when it came out and literally used the term “boneless daft punk.” I called him out for just parroting what Fantano said.
We got drunk and he finally admitted that he never listened to the album that he’s been trashing for months. Like it wasn’t already fuckin obvious.

Yeah I was slightly worried for them after how bad Hail to the King was, I was thinking they really weren't going to come back from it. It's one of those times where I'm glad I was wrong with how good The Stage was. Truly a miracle album if I've ever seen one.

I’m sure it’s been said before but I would be so down for a ZackyxJohnnyxBrooks old school punk side project. The Last Caress cover was so good too. Zacky has a really good Danzig impression
And tbf from what I’ve seen Zacky, Johnny, and Syn all do a pretty fair amount of background vocals live. It’s just that they take the place of Matt who just does literally almost all of the vocals on their records.

yeah they all had vocals on the s/t but seems like shadows has taken complete ownership of them since then, which is a shame considering how well it turned out on there + how much they contribute live vocally
