the songwriting on this is a major step down tbh

what element of the songwriting process is worse in ur opinion? I feel like personally the songwriting is the best part, because it's streamlined to the point where there really isn't a single musical element that feels out of place. only issue with this album are lame lyrics here and there, and duckworth has never hit me right

TPAB is still my favorite by Kendrick (and my only 5/5 for him), but I still love this. Tbh, I don't believe he's made any record that's short of being excellent
