I see this as their The King of Limbs, at least reception-wise. Both albums were thought to be let-downs by many on release, but TKOL's stature has grown in time... perhaps Gore could do the same? :D
Also, both this and TKOL are underrated as hell.

I smartened up soon enough, now it's a solid 4.5 and my fifth favorite by them
