'Cranked out That's the Spirit in its entirety during my gym workout this morning. Such a good fucking album. Don't listen to it for a month or 2, then go back, and it's an even better record than it was the first 200 times I listened to it. Anxiously waiting their next record. Band is at its peak.'
Then rate it dipshit.
Anyway album sucks and I hope they get a bit of bite back for their next album.

Anyway, 2 days until Thanksgiving and everyone, everywhere is cranking out That's the Spirit as they clean their houses, prepare for company, make side dishes, etc. Nothing like Thanksgiving Day with football on tv (on mute), and That's the Spirit blasting on the stereo for everyone.
Love turkey day

Oli Sykes is a good lyricist, but he's not the best. I've already stated my review for the album, so there's not much use in me restating it. As far as 2015 goes in albums, I thought "That's the Spirit" and "The Pale Emperor" were among the best as far as mainstream rock goes.

Yeah, he's the man.
Anyone need any That's the Spirit Christmas goodies? Lemme know.

This is such a good album to just fucking crank out in your living room as you just sit on the new comfy sofa, with the fireplace going, and a glass of wine, and the lights real dim, staring at the Christmas tree, enjoying life.

New to this site - found it by chance and plan on checking on my favorite albums of recent memory. Was scoping out the Volbeat pages and there are some good forums over there too. I'm pretty new to Bring Me the Horizon, but I've listened to all their albums by this point.
Kind of wish I didn't go in reverse order, starting with That's the Spirit, because the older stuff is so much different. Not sure if I like them like this (very mainstream sounding) or if I like the older stuff better. Think they are talented, either way, though.
Glad I found this website. It's rad.

What do you mean "not sure if I like them like this or if I like the older stuff better"

Newer BMTH any day of the week

That's the Spirit kicks ass.
I crank it out almost every day of the week.
Lot of BMTH goodies out there too.

Mayhem, you ever hear the debut album, "Falling Scalpel" by Greyest Comfort? They dropped this album around the same time as That's the Spirit. Probably the 2nd best album of the last 5 years behind That's the Spirit. Highly recommend it if you haven't heard it yet. Let me know how you like it.
