I'm on board with the style shift but that was pretty boring

in that it's asking me to accept radio indie pop sufjan into my life and it's debatable whether i want to do that

i'm really into video game, i love sufjan when he's on his weird obscurist stuff, but it's nice to hear him rein it in a little sometimes. hear a lot of tears for fear in it which i guess biases me towards loving it.

It's catchy as hell and agree with the Tears for Fears comparison, I'm all for it tbh

Eugene might just be my favorite Subaru song. Heartbreaking when he says "some part of me was lost in your sleeve where you hid your cigarrettes."

It's really good, the vibe of Video Game but more extravagant

Man the new one is phenomenal. My one issue so far with the releases are the constant repeated lyrics, but I love the vibe of all of them. It's like Age of Adz and Carrie and Lowell Live

My Rajneesh is great, one of my favorites by him but the other new songs were lame

yeah new album is kinda hell boring so far, a handful of songs like the opener are good-ish but My Rajneesh towers over all of them lol
