@asdf as i said, no one is seriously making an effort to say "oh yall naysayers is dumb111", so those people making 'defensive jabs' dont exist
elaborated on why the 5s are being made
well thats quite different from the original sentiment that was being expressed, namely that the people who are 5ing the album 'just dont get it/hip hop', and that those same people are somehow bashing people who dont like the album, though there's basically no evidence of that in the past several pages

no but you don't need to get butthurt is someone doesn't like this as much as you do, or point out some flaw of the album
as long as you don't do either, you'll be fine tbh

Because users are obsessed with appearing trve when it comes to appreciating a hip hop record.
The idea that a theme being "Beat to death" invalidates a record anyway is strange. It's like saying we shouldn't make any more war movies because Apocalypse Now exists. As long as the content itself is great (...and it is here, the production is immaculate with a vibrant soundscape that keeps the album fresh for its hour and 20 length, plus I really love the jazz elements here, it's something I'm excited to see more of in mainstream hip hop again with Flying Lotus and crew coming up)

"point out exactly where there is a correlation between anything that hes said between the last few pages aside from the one comment where gameofmetal (most likely facetiously) said 'kinda sad the 4.5 avg is gone', because the only other comments recently complaining about the rating have stated that the album is overrated and that there are a lot of 5s for the album - making those people who hyped the album and praised it as a classic ancient history, seeing as they havent been present in this thread for quite a while...making complaining about them futile"
i dont think i was being facetious i just really miss that fuckin 4.5 damn

I'm not into slam poetry dribbled over frantic jazz compositions, BUT IF I WAS, I'd probably love that interlude.
