They'd have to re-record and 're-imagine' that album. Maybe add/remove sections. Trim the songs down manageable lengths, etc.

Songs like Dirty Window, My World, Invisible Kid have no business even existing. If anything it'd be cool if they put out a St. Anger Re-imagined EP with the 4-5 bareable songs redone and re-recorded.

a reimaging of st anger would be fucking awesome. fix production, add solos, rewrite new lyrics, re-order tracks, maybe even throw in any of the songs that got cut and have never seen the light of day. it would basically be a new album.

it would never happen but st anger has some greatness buried underneath its shit.

"because the last vinyl pressing of master of puppets is the worst vinyl ever"

the pressing before that was shit too. remaster won't make a difference.

"Justice and Black Album remasters coming. I can't see what a Black Album remaster will do, but I'm interested in the Justice release. "

Won't change the fact that this album is a bad mix of thrash and hard rock, though.

@Willie: "This is easily my favorite Metallica album."

Well this doesn't mean that you can't like it. I just call it like i hear it. Black album is full hard rock, not even a tiny bit of thrash in it. This one is a mix and i personally think that it does not work together.

SonomaDude might think that's a shitty opinion but that's mine and if he doesn't respect it then i don't respect his

"it's more thrash/metal than anything else."

I guess you don't listen to thrash much.

I love the doomy guitar tones and riffs on this album. The build-up on "Eye of the Beholder" is one of my favorite riffs of all time. I don't care what genre(s) this album is, personally it's one of my tops of all time.
