hey man been listening to this band for more than a decade and I see that Jens and crew didn't sound their best on the demos and it was a good decision for them re-do them on CC. I'm more than familiar with the songs but even then, they're barely what I go to for Meshuggah unless I'm in that mood for my late '80s/early '90s thrash/groove metal collection and CC is one of my favourite records out of that. haven't bothered with them for years yet jam everything else of theirs almost daily.
by all means check out CC cuz it's a damn great record but I'd say far from necessary in their discography.

to me if I'd plug the bottom poles of this band's work that's like plugging bottom poles of other artists/groups, not really worth it cuz at best you're led towards a 2.5-3/5 out of it and that's not satisfying enough for someone like me
