or Deathcore that spends alot of the time experimenting with jazz, ambience and psychedelic post-rock or as myspace would call it progressive/deathcore/experimental.

Wasn't too impressed on first listen of the new album. Still a strong album, but it doesn't compare to this. At least, not yet...

I dunno, it sounds really goddamn good to me so far; surpassing my expectations, even.

That little melody in "Feedback Loop" that turns into a heavy part is amazing

:]

Okay I gave it a few quick spins, and the second half of the album seems a lot weaker to me than the first half. I really dig Causality and Feedback Loop, though. I'm going to need to give it more time obviously, but as of right now I think I prefer Exoplanet.

Its like comparing apples and oranges though. Exoplanet was way to repetitive at times, but other

than that it was supremely well done. This however, the songwriting improved tons, same with

musicianship and the repetitiveness is gone now. But at times it seems theyre trying way too hard on

Intrinsic, and theres also a lot of more "average" parts here than Exoplanet.

I also prefer Exoplanet over Intrinsic.

Say what you want about "repetitiveness", but I find it offers something you always enjoy coming back

to. Not just a plethora of riffs that do stuff and things...

I honestly don't know which one I like more. I feel like Intrinsic is more consistent, but I find it hard to put it over this because of how much I love this album. They're both so different from each other.

Geocentric Confusion and Dreaming Schematics are both fucking phenomenal, though.
