can’t tell how i feel about the song
production super clean in a way that immediately throws me off. leads are super botch-y though and i like that. kinda has the glassjaw thing goin where it sounds super modern in comparison to the magnum opus but u can still tell it’s them

'Dave sounds like a day hasnt past.'
he sounds pretty different to me. much more like his Narrows work than what he used to sound like with Botch

'How come this isn't on the best of 1999 rankings? Was it a super awesome year or something?'
according to this historic comment it seems like we have come a long way, currently sitting in 10th

Never listened to Botch before so I don't know how the new single stands with the rest of their discography but the single was awesome imo, really enjoyed it.

Lol I am reading these comments going "I am positive Dave Knudson wasn't in Narrows" and frantically checking wikipedia to confirm and then it hits me it's Dave Verellen.

Yeah so as I figured it's not a new album, tour is a bonus track for the reissue and was a Song by Knudson for his album that morphed into a bitch song over Covid.

I woke up three or four hours ago and thought "nah, there's plenty of time to order the reissue. Eat breakfast. Relax" and now they are all sold out... Why did I do this

Ngl, new single would probably be one of the worst on any of their releases but I’m glad it exists

Yeah it's good but tbh I'm glad they're not doing a full album that would most likely only hurt their legacy, eg Refused

Also as much as id L O V E to see them lives I prefer the image and footage of yesteryear and crowds going mental rather that a room full of kids where their iphones out

"I prefer the image and footage of yesteryear and crowds going mental rather that a room full of kids where their iphones out"
this is how I felt when I finally saw Curl Up and Die live, except it was less about the phones and more so just a bunch of dudes in their 30s that had work in the morning and have joint pain so it was kind of tame
