i mean sure but our vaguely competitive status the past four seasons is almost entirely due to the sub-par play on one side of the ball that we still pretty consistently win in spite of. we were expected to be one of the worst teams in the league but ended up making or barely missing the playoffs every season from 2019-2022... which i feel like gets completely lost on most people. relative to expectations these last five seasons have been some of tomlin's best. there's plenty of teams who have had legit super bowl aspirations who have similar/worse results over the same time period, chargers vikings colts browns all come to mind.

this was the first season since 2018 with actual expectations and even with going 1-3 in our last four we still control our destiny in terms of playoffs. i just don't think things are nearly as bad as they're made out to be with him. big ben returned from injury a shell of himself and i think its pretty safe to say we whiffed on pickett, but the wins keep coming all the same. i just find it tough to find fault in what tomlin's been doing outside of hiring a football terrorist at oc.

People complain about Brady being a “poor sport” but he would never stoop as low as Mahomes has, especially on something so egregious. Brady would just chew his players out on the sideline and then leave the field quickly and give the “we had opportunities to execute and win and we didn’t” response.

Mahomes literally complained to Josh Allen as if Allen wants to hear that as the excuse of why the Chiefs lost, and then proceeded to have a bitchfest at the post game presser.

I have been on the anti-Romo train for a long time. Buck and Aikman are top shelf and have been for years, I'm glad people are finally realizing how good they've been. Buck especially has done a lot to improve and I don't think his past reputation should at all still be attached to him.
