I think people see it trending, see the average and decide to check it out. Nothing wrong to rate it low if they dont like it even after 2nd or 3rd listening imo. Thats the drawback of those complex compositions. Some people wont get "hooked".

Seems I was too late.

I once thought I disliked black metal. Then I listened to Teethed Glory and Injury.

Why do you care what other people rate it?

imagine thinking someone is stupid for being curious, or open-minded enough to step outside of their comfort zone and try something new / give something another chance

"if by "out of ur way" u mean "irrational" then i have some bad news for ya"

so you're asking if i meant

"isn't going irrational to do something literally the exact opposite of lazy

well that doesn't even make sense

You won't be getting a free pass to report anyone for actual criminal activity or dereliction of duty. Unarmed people exist. And they aren't going to go into a darkened storefront to begin with. I've read the U.S. Justice Department's 2004-2009 Annual Survey of Deprivation to see just how badly one group of Americans is likely to experience at the hands of law enforcement, so I know you won't be getting a pass. What, did you think I had these statistics all locked up somewhere and didn't think you'd be able to obtain them? In my opinion, it would be the equivalent of a middle-schooler shooting his pocketbook to buy candy on a school bus.

I would honestly like to enjoy every genre so I will probably continue trying things I don't expect to like
