I always felt like (even upon first listening to those albums in middleschool when they came out) that define the great line is the perfect balance between chasing safety and lost in the sound. Chasing safety is a bit poppy and short and straightforward, define got a little bit more complex and had more substance to it where it formed their best and most cohesive album, and then lost just expanded a little too far in that direction and falls flat when it does

Disambig feels a little floaty at times though when it hits it has their best moments
