how does WYWH have perfect flow?? the middle 3 songs all sound completely different ... welcome to the machine is so cold and robotic, have a cigar is so poppy and rocky, and WYWH is so warm ... perfect flow... i think not... but regardless it works haha... so this argument is moot

That's what's so brilliant about it all the songs are different styles but they work so perfectly together

So you agree about Obscured being better than Meddle? Cool, thanks, bye
|
| |
Meddle flows just fine. The only song that breaks up the flow slightly is San Tropez and even that song seems to fit in somehow. The laid back atmosphere of that album's middle section flows perfectly into the epicness of Echoes.

For a lead role in a cage?
Still gets me after all this time.

^Most perfect lyrics ever agreed
@Jamie we're never going to agree it seems
at least until you change your mind and realise I'm right, that is
|

Haha, I will never change my mind. If anything my love for Meddle has grown stronger over time. I enjoy it about as much as this now.

i do agree that meddle flows a little bit awkwardly but it's still full of amazing songs so it doesn't bother me that much. however it's lack of cohesion kinda brings it down from the level of dsotm, this and animals

if Dave or Rick had sung Shine On rather than Roger this would be completely perfect

Agreed, if only.

Waters vocals suit that song quite well imo and when Gilmour comes in and sings the "SHINE ON YOU CRAAAAAZY DIIIAAAMOND" part with him it sounds perfect.
