Yea almost easy is good. Synyster definetely had some higlihts here. Yea mix is really weird. Ruins the athmosphere which is kind of their thing in other albums.

Ironically the only album that front to back has pretty great production is fucking HttK. I wish Nightmare sounded as good as that record.

Scream is the worst thing here.

That would be Unbound.
Scream is probably the third or fourth best track here.

Dear God is easily their worst song but Unbound is a close second

I've never had a problem with that song, frankly. Pretty cute and the guitar solo at the end is neat. Also, Critical Acclaim exists. It's okay but I got tired of it quickly and haven't touched it for years now.
Unbound is utter ass though. Its bulk sounds like an inferior precursor to Danger Line and the child vox at the end sink it completely. The album would be so much better if they had swapped that burning trash bin with Crossroads or Dancing Dead.

Dancing Dead and Demons clear every song here aside from Afterlife and Brompton Cocktail imo
Crossroads is fine but its lyrics are almost as bad as Critical Acclaim

Dancing Dead has a wicked catchy chorus and another insane solo from Syn, it’s absolutely crazy to me that it’s a B side. Same with Demons, that song just goes and goes and goes, would’ve been a great album opener

Dancing Dead is excellent. I love the instrumental in Girl I know too but the lyrics aged like milk. They were very of the time.
