ok so I love converge and this album isnt bad but like



for some reason its existence is a BIT of a bummer to me. even moreso than No Heroes which I think is kind of the worse album. but I /never/ return to this

I'm just excited they're doing something different. As much as I often long for the chaotic 'verge of yesteryear, that era still exists and won't be forgotten. Although I found this to be a significant step down in quality, it hinted at a departure that I'm hoping is now fully coming to fruition with the new style/Chelsea etc.

daimon off the new record is so good. definitely a great album but also weird and different enough that it makes me wonder why its even considered a converge album. would be very interested in hearing them make another album or two like this, as long as we get at least a 30 min. rager in the vein of the beautiful ruin ep from converge as well

Been playing it the whole week, I really can't wait for you all to hear it. Great, great album for fans of any of the artists involved.
