The thing to remember man its not a hardcore show. Theres not gonna be people going insane and shit too it like a converge show. Roadburn is the best, The absolute best but even as awesome as seeing Jane doe in full was I was still a little bit 'I wish this was a converge show to get teh reaction it deserves' Not that everyone didnt love it but..you know...

the venue in Tilburg has a giant fence in front of the stage, but even if it wasn't there you wouldn't be able to get up there because it's too high
Not to mention half of the room is a staircase

The fence is a pretty normal thing at festivals and medium-large sized venues. I hate them but I understand why they are there. Is it only one stage where everyone performs?
|

No theres 3 smaller venues but they wont be playing in any of them. Itll be awesome but the crowd wont be going 'off' like a normal converge show is what im saying which if that takes part of the attraction away...

it's like when i saw TDEP play and the venue put up a barrier without the band asking for one, obviously. It can take a LOT of energy out of the crowd when the band normally allows so much and interacts with the audience

I've seen a few bands where the vocalist just goes up to the barrier and climbs over it to crowd surf. Converge hasn't even played my state in like ten years so I wouldn't even know what a normal Verge show is like anyway

Album Rating: 4.5
My experience, a normal "verge" show is bodies flying everywhere, people climbing to the ceiling, and mosh pits galore. In Philly they played in a church basement and it was absolutely nutty

I want that so badly
