They're ok, but I prefer the fire and dynamism of the rougher tracks

I could take either one as my favorite, both are amazing

Garm's cleans are great for the most part in the first track. His cleans in general are pretty cool
|
| |
Garm turned into an incredible vocalist on their later non-black metal material.

He's always been an incredible vocalist. His voice really adds a tranquil and mysterious edge to everything

He's incredible here too I don't see any problem. His cleans here are so warm and angelic.

Fyi "Kapitel" means chapter.
Also, Garms vocals are always incredible.

His clean vocals have come a hell of a long way since their early days. You have to be deaf not to hear that. I mean they're nothing special here.
Screams are ok I guess but who gets excited about screams anyway.

lay down your soul to the gods' rock and roll

"Oh, I dunno, people who like black metal maybe?"
I was just voicing my lack of enthusiasm towards them with a rhetorical question, really. Even if I liked black metal I find it hard to imagine I'd ever be like "wow these screams are the best!".

Great dig btw, Choccy. I managed to pick that up on Record Store Day.

Listen to Deathspell Omega and you'll probably be thinking that.
Haven't quite had the time to listen to it yet but if it's anything like commissions I, then i'm looking forward to it

It's better than Commissions I.
