So when you throw a pokeball at a Pokemon it basically gets atomized and becomes a form of data that is reassembled when you toss the ball back at the ground. So my question is, does the consciousness of the Pokemon remain intact throughout this process, or are we basically cloning an image of our Pokemon using its data and DNA? Are we killing our Pokemon everytime we put them back in a ball?
