I actually struggle to place what my first metal album was. Grew up watching MTV and I was infatuated with the rockstars. And my parents were rockers so it's kinda tough to place, it was always just there. I know I had Queensryche on tape really young. I know the first metal CD I bought with my own money (wasn't a record store within an hour's drive and we didn't have a lot of $$$ back then) was Load when it released, but I was regularly gifted CDs.

Don’t know if it counts as metal but I remember my parents playing High Voltage, Led Zeppelin II and Van Halen I on their old Pioneer stereo when I was way young. As far as my first Metal CD that I owned it was Alice In Chains’s greatest hits.

I was listening to Sea of Tranquility the other day and Pete mentioned Loneliness specifically being terrible or a skip (forget exactly how he said it). I can't fathom that lol it's as pure a Maiden track as any. Would actualy fit right in on BNW.
