I understand completely what genres are supposed to do. But when you start putting everything into its own little subgenre then it just gets retarded and people will stay away from some music just because of the stigma that comes with a certain genre. Who cares what genre music falls into. If its good its good, if its bad then its bad.

i saw them open for Fair to Midland a couple years ago
technically they were good, but with the three guitarists there was just no dynamics.. just a constant wave of sound. so that was a bit underwhelming, but Spencer was dead-on that night. super nice guy, got to chat with him for about 10 mins after the show
