Lost Songs avg rating is abominable. The Haunting is one of the best things they ever did and the rest was pretty sweet.

I mean it's an album of b-sides, it's not really surprising

Also agreed on The Haunting. I wonder why it didn't make it onto Cities.

I always just assumed they decided for some reason a 100% acoustic song was something they didn't want on Cities.

never you mind on my theory toxin I always think it's an acoustic originally because I have the AOL sessions, but I guess an electric guitar and drums comes in near the end on the Lost Songs version. What would the one song be to take off of Cities and put the Haunting on there instead? And what track order?

I got rid of Adelaide, bumped Unwinding up and put The Haunting.

@Storm, good point. With Inevitable, UWCC, and sorta Dismantle and Fin, I don't know if the album needs another partly acoustic song.

Maybe I'd put The Haunting at #3, and replace Hello Alone with Adelaide, but I don't know if such a poppy song would fit in the middle of the album.

Damn Green Baron I was actually considering Adelaide as the one I'd get rid of too. I like that you would bump up Unwinding. I feel like I would have Haunting come in somewhere on the tracklist where I could keep it as far away from Unwinding or Dismantle as possible. Toxin I think you're right about that.

Tracks 6-9 are probably the best place. You can expand that to 5-9 if you switch Whisper and UWCC which sounds fine in my head. From there you can take out one song (I'd choose Hello Alone again) for an acoustic number without slowing down the album too much

If Haunting is going on Cities though I wouldn't want to get rid of any other acoustic songs because those are all the best tracks. I just realized if you add Haunting and take off both Adelaide AND A Whisper and a Clamor that would make Cities a much much darker album.

I just listened to UWCC and then the Haunting and the transition is actually really good! Toxin I like that a lot.
