Is Dan still happily married ? Trespassers and Destinos been out for years so I hope they add some new life to em.

Not a fan of the "oohoo" bit but other than that the song totally rules.

I always check kingdom-leaks.com for leaks. Usually pretty good.

Great song, that ending is amazing
I love that they recorded with live drums, it sounds great. This is gonna rule

It’s a decent song but maybe a bit rote for them. Tbh in my mind this project was never really destined to become a proper “band” (especially since Tim isn’t a career musician) but it feels like that’s what’s happening here. Definitely doesn’t seem as properly haunting as most of Deathcon and TUW do.

It doesn't have to though. If the whole album sounds like Sea of Worry, I'll love it and probably even more than TUW honestly.

imo they’re gradually losing their niche appeal which is fine and good for them but I get the sense that if Sea of Worry was hypothetically my first introduction to the band, I wouldn’t love them. new song is good but also sounds stylistically like something plenty of other bands could get away with. still optimistic tho

butt.

looks like they’re redoing some old stuff so that’s promising at least

Yeah this is kind of what I’m getting at. I’m fine with them losing the niche appeal, great for them (I was a latecomer anyways), but I always felt there was something “different” about this project and I’m wary of them becoming just another revivalist post-punk act, and this song feels more like that than anything on the first two albums.

albums over an hour almost always take me several listens to fully get a handle on. liked this one a lot the first time through but definitely need to revisit it soon.
