For real though other than Afterlife, Brompton Cocktail is the best song on this album m/

And Critical Acclaim, come on...
Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, but this is a great album.
...or at least half of it is.

I just listened to this. Gunslinger is meh. I don't like Unbound and Little Piece of Heaven. Dear God is kind of neat but not something I want to return to much. The rest of the album is hella good though. Their sound is super refined on the rest of the tracks and the hooks are huge. I was really enjoying the melodicism of Lost and how upbeat that is. Cocktail is badass. The best song on here after Afterlife yea. I remember being super tired of songs on this album but it was just because I had heard them too much.
Overall the tone of the album seems scattered when considering every track. Which is odd because all the great tracks are really cohesive and synergistic with each other.

As meh as this album is, playing Afterlife on the drums will never stop being fun. One day when I actually practice double bass I'll be able to do Almost Easy too

I was listening to LBC and man his vocals were absolutely insane. I’m sure they were pitch corrected in post and all that stuff but that version of Seize the Day is so much better than on the record, I feel similarly about Critical Acclaim… those post chorus shouts are so bad man. Might be the worst lyrics Matt ever penned.
Jimmy sounds phenomenal on both tho
