this band is everything that people don't think about when they hear "metal." it's kind of brilliant.

I haven't even listened to my remaster copy yet because it just looks so beautiful and I don't think I'm ready to handle its awesomeness.

eh you shouldn't notice the difference unless you're really paying attention or playing them against each other or something.

dont ruin the cover then, listen on spotify (although a wild commercial will play every now and then destroying the flow of the album)

I listened to the remaster of Backlit on YouTube with my Sennheisers and the tweaks were noticeable enough.

Jamming the remaster for the first time. The difference between the two is so miniscule and the original was great already, so I don't really see a need for the remaster.

The guitars sound less harsh, otherwise it's pretty much the same.

"this band is everything that people don't think about when they hear "metal." it's kind of brilliant."

Idk how that classifies as "brilliant". Also, Post-Metal is kind of not really quintessential metal.

ah, thanks. yeah there are a few differences (solo guitar line is clearer, vox are preamped, drums have more low end). I don't necessarily like it more though.
