Fair enough, thanks for the explanation. Wish he could've popped along to the UK shows last week, then they could've swapped him out for Vsauce over in the states, no one would have known.

Haha! Yeah they've probably thought about it, but the amount of practice necessary to make a set like theirs get played with any level of proficiency, plus the added challenges of adding an additional instrument and musician into a live setup that's already complex, makes it unfeasible. He's also pretty damn busy he is as a producer, so I doubt he even has time to sit down and learn Periphery songs for a tour.

I'm sure he was hanging out at at least one of the shows though, even if he didn't play with them.

Bringing in a new member is one more mouth to feed. Smart business move.

Just had a thought Satellites would have fit so well on the Death Stranding soundtrack (maybe adjust the lyrics to make it about the game and it would have been epic)

absolutely fucking laughable how those "so woke" metal channels like loudwire etc. are totally oblivious to bands like periphery etc. etc. and put 3 Ghost songs on their best metal songs of the decade video, loudwire is such an awful channel and give non of the underground bands recognition, I'm not surprised metal is even less popular than before, because channels like that are giving the crap bands exposure and not bands that are pushing themselves constantly with new unique ideas, fuck those channels

also, it's funny how Jason Mamoa likes Archspire, which means he has better taste than loudwire who recycle the same bands every video for views

Spencer's vocals on Satellites are god-tier. Dude has raised his game like crazy.

You may or may not like these guys, but you should bow to Blood Eagle's riff

I never thought I would ever say this about a Periphery track, but Reptile might actually be the best song I've heard this year.
