I go back and forth between RTL and Master, but probably Master because "Trapped Under Ice" always makes me laugh for some reason. Those lyrics are just...lol

RtL has Creeping Death, which may be the best Metallica song ever. But Escape and Trapped Under Ice are comparatively weak compared to everything on Mop outside of Leper Messiah

Trapped under Ice is fucking awesome dude.

Forgettable imo. Heard the album a million times and still barely remember it lol. Says more about me than the song itself but that's what I get out of it.

The riffs on Trapped Under Ice rule but the lyrics are too goofy for me. I just picture James doing the mime "can't get out from under this ice" moves while singing it live (he hasn't actually done this to my knowledge but it's the image that pops up)

MoP had The Thing That Should Not Be, Leper Messiah and Damage Inc. All those are pretty weak tracks that drag down that album for me. RtL had Escape which may be the weakest track but not a bad one at all. Trapped Under Ice is perfect headbanging material.

Oh yeah, and bass or no bass, this album definitely has their strongest song writing.
