I should live in salt, Demons and Fireproof are songs which works best in album context not as single songs. I think "Don't swallow the cap" is the only thing atm that works outside of the album.

The National's lyrics are so dumb it's not funny anymore. Every verse is like a tumblr post, which is
nice... but then you realize that there's no connection between the verses and they don't have any
point or conclusion. They are definitely the most overrated act in history of music since Elliott
Smith, lyrically.
i dont like them so everyobdy else is stupid for liking them you know.
