Just got out of the show in STL… it’s fkn crazy that Trent is 60, dude looks and plays like he’s half that. His voice is noticeably weaker but not shot by any means. He doesn’t really scream anymore but that’s what he’s got Robin for. Played a bunch of songs off this record, but I still think it would’ve been really cool to bust out a deeper cut like A Warm Place or Becoming. One of the transitions was the Eraser intro, I really would’ve lost my shit if they played that.

I first saw them at Red Rocks and I still say that’s probably the best concert I’ve ever been to, and this was damn good too. Setlist was shook up enough to feel fresh, and god they opened with the Bones and All song. Nearly turned me into a blubbering bitch right off the bat.

Seriously still one of the best live bands around, but they kinda left me wanting more. I get theyre old but take a fucking break in the middle if you have to. I hate that arena bands will play 90 minutes and call it a night, tickets are so insanely priced these days, I feel like these big bands should be playing 2 hours minimum, but that’s an industry wide problem. I had the same issues with Deftones, funny enough it was the exact same arena.

I saw them last year and the blew my goddam socks off. Their production was on a different level. I had no issues whatsoever paying for that concert.

Yeah the whole setup was cool as hell, honestly I kinda wish I just went for the nosebleeds because the show probably looked fucking sick from anywhere in the place

I was front row in the nosebleeds for last year's tour and it was the best show I saw last year hands down. Love them embracing their electronic/techno side with Boys Noize. Hoping we see more from their collaboration

Also the keys that start playing with the chorus on Hurt are so eerily beautiful. I wish they were more prominent on the record but live they sounded so perfect

Its crazy to me that I listen to so much dm but the lyrics on this album still bother me quite a bit. Like people think death metal is so dark and violent and shit but this whole album honestly is more deranged than like 98/99% of dm. He really painted a pretty vivid picture of how dark and fucked up his mental state was....and maybe some of that was for show/story/concept purposes but this album is still more disturbing to me than pretty much anything in dm that I can think of.
