What game was it where everyone was calling luigi "green mario" or is that just every game now? I haven't played any newer mario games

The BBC have done an article on the demise of the NME.

Fitting that Kurts image is plastered all over the copy. 90s, the last era when music ‘really’ did matter

I think there are dozens of amazing 21st Century albums, just none really in the mainstream. 90s had a wealth of both great acclaimed albums and unknowns

The mainstream was anethema to most bands. The ‘scene’ was something to be looked upon with disgust.

Now everybody wants to be famous by being nothing other than a nobody.

Can you blame them? Who doesn't wanna be a popular musician at some point in their life? Not everyone wants to be Ian Curtis, or Kurt cobain. Some people wanna be Dave Gohl or McCartney. Not dead and deified but alive financially secure

It’s the inability to be someone and wanting to be like somebody else which has killed originality.

Willing to compromise to be ‘financially secure?’ Soulless.

"It’s the inability to be someone and wanting to be like somebody else which has killed originality."

He said speaking about Nirvana, the dictionary definition of unoriginal.

They had their influences, they were unlike any other when they did their thing.

There is that but was there compromise as a result? Did they truly sell out? Did they not retain some integrity?
