One day maybe this won’t be 4th best Death to me. It still rules, I just don’t see how it’s quite as praiseworthy as some people think. I feel they pushed the ‘tech’ on this & lost some of the song-writing at times, at least compared with Symbolic (best of both worlds), Human & Leprosy.

Symbolic is too spaced out to me, I prefer the higher density of riffs while still maintaining the prog direction.

Used to think that either Symbolic or Human is best..Leprosy was close behind.
But I gotta say that I might overplayed both Human and Symbolic..the're both still incredible albums for me obv
Leprosy is just eveything I want in dm and for now its my most played death metal album overall.
