"poland"

"Pickles" isn't even a word in Polish

When I put "pickles" simply into Google translate it spat out "ogórki konserwowe" which translates to pickled cucumbers, not pickled something else

I mean Poland, last time I checked, doesn't have their own set of English rules...because they speak Polish

The rules for this are arbitrary and crazy but I just can’t, as a guy who sometimes puts bread in the toaster, let go of the subjective sensation that I toasted some bread. Idk. It’s personal really

sure, the bread is toasted, but in the process becomes toast, and cannot rightly anymore be called bread

if you go to buy bread and the loaf is already crispy with burn marks on the sides is that what you came for?

No but I’d still be like “that’s bread that something happened to”

Maybe arbitrary. Almost certainly if it was a toasted whole damn loaf

I think the subjective-hypothetical “would that please you/is that what you asked for” criteria isn’t rly doing it for me dunno why. Not sure that’s what the definition rides on
