This review was clearly written by someone who was still on the high of the first listen. This album is full of great sections that never fully materialize. Almost every song feels bored with itself well before the song ends, with the exception of a few tracks (opener and closer are strong). I bet money that by the end of the year this albums rating is sitting just above Gore, which is honestly where it belongs.
