what good, unconventional, 'artsy' games do you guys know? i should play more videogames and the mother series is right up my alley with it's music and storyline and how everything plays out. not a fan of having to talk to every fucking npc and menial tasks w/o a guide lol, but it's a great game nevertheless >:]

if you like RPGs, Super mario RPG is essential (as are the final fantasy games but i think thats obvious), though i would use an emulator and patch it with a difficulty mod, its too easy. Paper mario and mario and luigi superstar saga are awesome RPGs too.

when it first was announced i was lukewarm towards it but it does look like a good forty minutes of pissing around before a wank

thats the type of game ive been dreaming about since i was a kid and never thought id see in my lifetime. a game where you can explore an endless amount of space with endless worlds, and worlds which you can traverse entirely instead of having little patches where you have to sit and wait for the load screen to get you there.



and even if it does get old quick, at least theyve got the means to make this kind of game now, and the second one will hopefully be a big improvement.

yea, the fact that there is the hardware to construct a game with those kind of characteristics is enough to make wet dream about the videogames we'll be playing in the next 5-10 years. O man, I really hope it's worth it.
