Chuck sounded great up until Thought Patterns where he was just passable, then Symbolic easily had his worst vocal performance. I like his vocals here a lot though.

Vocals rule here. Only Painkiller sucks ass on this album, but I just pretend it doesn't exist

yeah Painkiller shouldnt be here. it honestly annoys me when artists include covers on a full length. save that shit for EP's or release it as a single or some shit.

I don't mind including covers on an LP, as long as they fit in with the rest of the material. Painkiller really doesn't fit on here at all.

"Thalassic dude do you 5 every album? lol"

Yeah dude, I did say my ratings have zero integrity, didn't I? lol
I just rate on gut feeling and I don't really care if others think my ratings are shit (because objectively speaking, they probably/certainly are). I'm no authority on anything, just here to have some fun

i mean it's a good call

most of us are not professional reviewers or anything

but i think my use of this site is more 'interesting' if i attempt to place some weight on the concept of objectivity and that's my own preference

A good cover can be an album highlight in some cases so it's definitely ok to include covers on full-length albums. Most metal covers tend to be awful though.

idk, covers take me out of the experience. when i put on an album, i put it on to hear that band's material, not hear them play someone else's.
