I think i decided that this t/t was the best Metallica song as a 9th grader and my opinion hasn't changed. It used to be "Blackened".

"They are all influential albums, but kill'em all, RIP and Reign in Blood were the groundbreaking albums of thrash."

the first 4 metallica albums were all very influential, you'd have to be pretty ignorant to think otherwise

AJFA was extremely influential for the band, basically put them as the face of metal with the One video.

that drum kick sound alone is more influential than the totality of RIP smh. RIP is just a certain sound mastered to the highest degree

And yeah agreed with Nero.

Reign in Blood pretty much spawned all of extreme metal plus its double kick drums were pretty influential.

Honestly at this point, let's just call Sabbath's debut the most influential and be done with it.

groundbreaking means a new contribution or a milestone.

under this Kill'Em All, RIP, Reign in Blood and Beneath the Remians are the thrash milestones imo
