plateau has a really nice opening 4-5 minutes but then it just dies away and pillars just stays in one place for far too fucking long

Not true at all. In fact, he's not a sheep and therefore that makes him intelligent in my books. Music is music and we all have a hard time accepting harsh ratings that don't match our own superior tastes.
