Re-listened of this infamous LP, checked.
"Deliverance" title track was the first piece that i listen on a MetalRadio station back in 2004 after a decade pause from music.
A was amazed by the combination of quality, heaviness, melody & even jazzy stuff. Completely re-hook on metal, and music in general, since.
Of course, this song is less from perfect but it emotionally clicked.
Cannot go lower than 4.5, completely biased ;)
PS: Deliverance & Damnation RM remix is really well done, HD quality IMO 5/5

Relistened to this the other day. It has so much more cool moments than I remembered. Master's Apprentices is awesome with that harsh return with the guitar punches after the mellow segment. And For Absent Friends has that nostalgic, a bit dissonant solo that seems tied with the style they had in Blackwater Park.
