Watershed actually has my favorite drumming of all of Opeth's albums, followed closely by Ghost Reveries, then Still Life.

Uhh hmm, to tell the truth it never stuck out to me to even make an opinion of if it was necessary or not. Since Im listening to it now, it is a bit over the top, but then again isnt Opeths compositions as a whole? Besides, why exactly did Lopez leave anyway? Wasnt he having panic attacks or something along the lines of that?
